Giganews is a good usenet provider.
Retention, speed and completion are satisfactory. Binary completion was decent at about 90%, which is better than a lot of the others out there.
Retention in the single-part binaries is good 20-24 days while multi-part binary retention is at 10 days or less. Text group retention is around 150 days. Speeds were excellent and averaged around 600-700Kbps with some spikes higher than that.
Giganews offers a good supllimental usenet service. Giganews combined with another service provider would be the perfect combination.
