Comments
Gradwell is a text only server located in the UK. We had a full access account this time and were allowed to post. Posting was very fast and reached my local news server within seconds. My local server is usually slow in picking up posts from other sites.
Headers came in blazingly fast and the server should have all the groups a text user would need. Retention is seven days in all groups, I checked some soc. and rec. groups and they had seven days retention as well. Gradwell is quite a good server if you're in the market for text newsgroups and don't want to pay $10.00 per month or more just to read them.
