Other then it being very slow for me and not carrying many subsidary NG's that are now common on every server their way of adding new NG's is kind of confusing because you need to post a request to the appropriate NG they have setup for that and then they say the NG has to pass Usenet and/or their server policy to be added. I could see a problem with that on some NG's. I just put in a request for our NG to be added and I'll see how that goes.

I've been reading through the requests of NG's to be added and someone asked for our NG and many others like a.b.movies.divx, a.b.movies.purity, etc.. to be added in November and I guess either it was forgotten or didn't pass their policy, either way I want to see what happens with a new request. Completeness is good, retention as you will tell from the test groups up above lacks a little in big posted to binary NG's. I've read reports that because of the routing of @Home to them that is why the speed is slow, it might be good for some not on @Home but I would do a trace route beforehand to make sure.

Newsguy is notorious for not adding groups by user request. They have stated that this is due to lack of drive space and the fact that there are other groups that can be used instead.
